Clear messages from Microsoft WPC

“It is all about the cloud”, says Qurius CEO Leen Zevenbergen, after returning from Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Los Angeles (10-14 July). “We are now facing the breakthrough of the newest step in computing and IT services, which was announced some years ago. We have agreed with Microsoft to speed up our mutual investments in CRM online and have one or more of our solutions up and running this fall. This makes us one of the first partners to have a cloud solution available in a multilingual set up. Besides all this we also made clear that we will invest heavily in the deployment of AX 2012. This is an operation in which we will closely cooperate with our strategic partner Prodware.”

During the WPC event Qurius and Prodware from France announced their strategic cooperation. It was very much welcomed by the business community and by the Microsoft Dynamics group. Also the Global Alliance partners of Qurius and Prodware received the news with applause. This alliance preludes on a further consolidation of Microsoft Dynamics partners. Leen Zevenbergen of Qurius: “It is clear that the business software industry is more and more a global business that requires continuous investments in product development, training and education as well knowledge sharing. You need larger entities to support these requirements and to support customers in local as well as in regional and global businesses. Together with Prodware we  will now combine our strengths and abilities; and we are looking to further increase cooperation within the Qurius Global Alliance. After a year of heavy restructuring, Qurius can be proud of where we are now. Our UK and  Belgium organisation have been named to the Microsoft Dynamics President’s Club, which means they have exceeded  their targets for both revenue and customer service. Qurius Netherlands was also mentioned as having the largest value of ERP-sales in The Netherlands, while  Qurius Corporate was elected to Microsoft’s partner-elite of the Inner Circle. This means that we have more valuable access to knowledge and executive networks within Microsoft and the channel to discuss and develop our business strategies.”

I am very happy with the commitments that Microsoft is making to their partner network. They announced that they are investing $5.8 billion in their business software and the partner network. “We can feel this in our business and it stimulates the new group that we form with Prodware to take the lead in several fields of play: CRM, cloud and AX 2012. As a group we are now one of Microsoft’s Dynamics top 5 partners worldwide and a leader in the EMEA-market. We are one of the few partners which offer the complete Microsoft stack of business software across some 10 verticals in 16 countries in EMEA. As the Qurius/Prodware group we are building a unique company together.”
